Position Overview
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Manager, Operations will play a key role in supporting the stricture and execution of Baby2Baby’ workplace operations and facilities functions across multiple locations.
This role will help translate organizational and business priorities into clear operational plans, ensuring strong day-to-day execution across office operations, facilities management, organizational workstreams, and administrative coordination. The Senior Manager will partner closely with the Director of Operations to support planning, prioritization, and execution of key initiatives, while also helping build scalable systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination across the organization.
This role will be instrumental in supporting major organizational projects, including office moves, warehouse transitions, and the Stanford headquarters renovation, while helping ensure consistency and continuity across locations. They will also serve as a key operational partner to the Director of Operations, supporting cross-functional initiatives and broader business operations workstreams as needed, and provide leadership, guidance, and support to members of the operations team.
The Senior Manager will work Monday-Friday and be based on-site at Baby2Baby Headquarters at 5830 W. Jefferson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90016, transitioning to the Santa Monica headquarters in 2027. The work is performed in an office setting and is currently in office or on site 4–5 days per week. This role requires regular on-site presence across additional locations, including warehouse operations currently in Van Nuys and relocating to Vernon. Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends may be required based on organizational needs and events.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day workplace operations and facilities across both locations, ensuring consistent execution and coordination.
- Partners with the Director of Operations on approach, prioritization, and execution of key operational workstreams.
- Supports on organizational infrastructure initiatives including systems, workflows, reporting, and operational scaling efforts.
- Identifies opportunities to improve processes, coordination, and efficiency across workplace operations, facilities, and broader operational workflows.
- Acts as a key operational partner across active projects, driving timelines, coordination, and follow-through across teams.
- Supports execution of major organizational initiatives, including the Santa Monica headquarters renovation, office moves, and warehouse transition from Van Nuys to Vernon.
- Helps structure and manage facilities-related workstreams, including vendor coordination, maintenance, and operational updates (IT, Security, AV).
- Supports vendor coordination and relationships related to facilities, utilities, and building operations.
- Provides guidance and coordination to members of the operations team to support clear workflows and coverage.
- Supports at organizational events as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, workplace management, facilities, or related roles.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-builder with a focus on customer service, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, vendors, and external partners.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
Salary
This role’s salary range is between $80k – $110k/yr. Actual salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
